I am finally getting out of the Hotel Maintenance career. I will be starting a new one at the end of this month. The pay is way higher than what I've been making. I'll be servicing/maintaining a data center's Hvac systems. I could not have done it with out Skillcat.

This app is beyond amazing, So helpful and easy to study with how they set up the program it teaches you exactly what you need to know & also quizzes you midway through a course which I find extremely helpful in remembering the answers without it going in one ear & out the other!! Over all great app I highly recommend!

I was able to land a pm job (entry level service tech at my company) just by using skillcat to get my universal epa and currently taking their residential class and plan to continue my education on skillcat.
Damn that reads like an ad lol but it's only $10 a month, the point I'm making is you don't necessarily need to go to trade school to get started but I fully anticipate using my lunches and some time at home to further my education. The trade school near me wanted 25k for a 9 month course. I could be subscribed to skillcat for 208 years and it still be cheaper then trade school.

Lost my desk job after 19 years and had to reinvent myself, but there is a huge learning curve to overcome. This app makes learning feasible. Thank you, SkillCat!

My Name is Franklin Ray Pearce. I am a central Florida native and have been doing HVAC work since 1982 after I graduated from high School. I attended the HAVC course at Seminole Community College 1982-1983. From there I was an installer, service technician, service manager and then a State Class B license HVAC contractor and was in business for 24+ years. During that time I also attend a Test and Balance course and was certified for T&B. I now am the Chief Mechanical Inspector for Orange County Florida and have been with the county for almost 10 years. I also have been teaching HVAC, 2nd year Heatpump course, at Orange Technical College for the past 8 years. I enjoy helping people understand the industry and the changes that are coming.
