This error code appears if the dishwasher door is not closed within 4 seconds after the Start/Resume button was pressed, or in case the door latch unit is out of order. When you start a washing cycle, remember to close the door within a 4-second time span after you have pressed Start/Resume. If the cycle cannot be started, returning the same error code, it is the door switch that needs replacement. Disconnect the dishwasher from the mains to cut off the power supply. Take off the door and examine the door switch wirings. Connect any loose wires back in place or replace the entire cable harness in case it is damaged.
