With a membership or a free trial, all of the courses in our app, including the EPA 608 course and exam, is included with your membership! You can choose whichever exam you need to take: Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, or Universal.

Once you've passed one of the EPA exams, you can purchase an EPA 608 card of the type you've passed for $50 through our payment page.

Please note that if you do not have the certification on your profile, we will not be able to process your shipment, and your order will be refunded to you.

Here's the breakdown of each EPA 608 exam. You do have to answer 25 Core questions for each exam, and all the sections will be mixed together. You need a 70% total on any of these exams to pass.

Universal: 25 Core + 25 Type I + 25 Type II + 25 Type III = 100 questions.

Type 1: 25 Core + 25 Type I = 50 questions.

Type 2: 25 Core + 25 Type II = 50 questions.

Type 3: 25 Core + 25 Type III = 50 questions.

Yes! We are an official EPA issuer, and earning the EPA 608 certificate with us will be earning the actual certification. You can see us on the EPA's list of official testers, approved November 2020: Section 608 Technician Certification Programs | US EPA.

Your digital certificate and physical card will have a certificate number that you can verify in our database here: SkillCat Verify Certificate.

Nope! Cancelling your membership only locks you out of accessing the courses, but you can always log into your account in the app and view your earned certificates.

Please note that your EPA 608 certificate will not show up on another institution's website, or the EPA website. Each issuer is required to hold their own database of 608 certificates, so yours can be searched up in our database.

It's very possible that you, your employer, or the supply house searched up your certificate number on the wrong website. Below are two common places that users mistakenly search on:

1) A website that looks like the official EPA website but isn't

2) A page on the official EPA website, but for a different certification (e.g. EPA Lead Certification)

An EPA card is a physical card that will be mailed to your address. You can carry this white PVC card in your wallet every day to work with ease and have your EPA certification verified in less than 30 secs with the scannable QR code present at the back of the card.

Congrats on taking the EPA 608 exam on the SkillCat app! If you finished the exam recently, it takes our team 24-48 hours to review the attempt. If you pass, your certificate is emailed directly to you.

If you took the exam longer than 48 hours ago, our team can resend the certificate form. It will be from our proctor's email address: katie@skillcatapp.com. Please check your inbox and spam for your certificate within the next 24 hours.

We ship EPA cards only on Thursdays. It might take up to 2 weeks to receive your EPA card. Please ensure you have given the correct address because the EPA cards will be sent out only once.

You can take the EPA Universal exam in the SkillCat App anytime. You can also access the free EPA practice tests and course modules in the SkillCat App. You can download the App here!

The EPA test has to be taken through the mobile App. This enables your face and the screen to be recorded since the software that records the screen is functional on the App only.

The verification number of your EPA certificate is the "Certificate Number" in your certificate. The certificate number will be mixed in capital and small letters or numbers, similar to esdODDGCio

The date mentioned in your EPA certificate (below the certificate number) is when your EPA Certification got approved.

And the approval date mentioned is when SkillCat got EPA approved - November 18, 2020.
