Fix for the error
To know if the door switch is operational, you have to look at the range light while you open or close the door. If the lights go on while you open the door and go off when you close it, it means the door switch is in operational order. Replace it if you found out it is defective. Unplug your range from the mains. Check for any wires that went loose on the wire harness leading to the door lock unit. If you found out the wire harness is damaged, replace it.
